Some scenes of life aboard the dazzling World Voyager
The World Voyager was built 2 years ago in Portugal, one of 3 identical sister ships, The Voyager, The Explorer, and the Navigator. Purchased by a new luxury cruise company Atlas, this was only its second cruise to Antarctica!
Everything was brand new, top of the line, squeaky clean, and staffed by some of the nicest people you've ever met.

The bridge! We were lucky enough to get invited up for a tour
Cadet Joao (from Portugal) giving us the tour
The crew fished out one of the growlers and chiseled a groove in it to pour vodka through (they insist they tested it for deadly pathogens first). Sure, we've had tundra vodka before, but a shot poured over a 5000 year old iceberg was definitely a first.
One of our expedition guides, John (right, from Zimbabwe), and a volunteer from the audience, demonstrating the wingspan of a giant albatross
Expedition Leader Stefano (from South Africa) giving us a recap of the trip.
The expedition crew receiving a standing ovation from the guests on the last day. The expedition crew was made up of scientists and explorers from all over the world including South Africa, France, Ukraine, England, Argentina, Paraguay, US, Zimbabwe, Netherlands, and probably at least a few more I'm not remembering.
